Rove Spotlight: Q&A with Eliot Rozovsky, Real Estate Associate
Can you tell us a bit about your background and what brought you to Rove?
Growing up between Boston, Berlin, and Moscow sparked my passion for travel, experiencing diverse cultures, and connecting with people from all over the world. Tennis also played a major role in my upbringing, allowing me to travel across the U.S. and deepening my love for both travel and hospitality. I was fortunate to play tennis at Bowdoin College, which not only refined my competitive spirit but taught me the value of resilience and teamwork. After graduation, I joined Kasa Living’s Real Estate & Growth team, where I honed my skills in real estate and business development within the flexible-stay hospitality space. Joining Rove has been a natural next step, allowing me to apply those experiences in a high-growth, luxury brand environment. I’m thrilled to see firsthand the positive results we’re achieving as we expand Rove’s portfolio.
How would you describe your job & responsibilities to someone who doesn’t work in your field?
Growing Rove’s portfolio of luxury furnished rentals is my primary responsibility. My days are often spent zipping around NYC, meeting with real estate owners, developers, and top brokers to spread the word about Rove’s value proposition. I work to show them how we can help solve their pain points, offering a unique luxury experience that’s aligned with Rove’s high standards. My Citi Bike membership has definitely been a game-changer for navigating the city and keeping pace with this fast-moving role!
What does "a day in the life" of the Real Estate team look like?
The day-to-day for our team is all about proactive communication. It’s a blend of emails, calls, and in-person meetings with potential partners, which keeps the energy high and the schedule busy. Building these relationships is essential to Rove’s growth, as we’re continually engaging with real estate owners and brokers who want to understand what sets Rove apart in the luxury rental market. Each conversation is a step toward bringing more exceptional properties to our platform.
What does operations entail, and why is it such an important step in the process of building a successful brand?
Operations is the glue that keeps Rove’s growth engine running smoothly. Hospitality, especially in the luxury sector, is very operationally intensive because it involves numerous stakeholders—from property owners to guests, and from housekeeping to concierge services. Operations ensure alignment across these different functions, which is crucial for delivering a seamless, high-quality guest experience. Without the foundation of strong operations, even the best growth efforts would be hard-pressed to maintain momentum.
What is your favorite thing about working at Rove?
I love visiting some of the most stunning properties in NYC, working with top performers across the city’s real estate landscape, and being part of a world-class team that genuinely values each person’s contributions. Rove’s culture is both collaborative and driven, with a level of authenticity that makes it easy to be excited about coming to work each day. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being part of a company where everyone is pulling together toward a shared vision.
What advice would you give to someone looking to join your team?
Know your strengths and be confident in your abilities, but don’t be discouraged if you don’t meet every single requirement for the role. Rove is a fast-growing startup where qualities like scrappiness, a growth mindset, and resourcefulness are often more valuable than technical skills or strict qualifications. If you’re adaptable, motivated, and ready to learn on the fly, you’ll thrive here.
What is something that you’re proud of that you’ve accomplished in your role?
I’m proud to have made a meaningful impact on Rove’s growth by helping to significantly expand our property portfolio. Being part of the Real Estate team has also allowed me to help shape our approach to building these relationships, ensuring that we’re positioned as a trusted partner in the luxury market. Seeing how our efforts contribute to Rove’s success is both motivating and incredibly satisfying.
Where is your favorite destination you’ve visited, and why?
Nosara, Costa Rica—a small surf town nestled in the jungle along the Pacific coast—is the closest place I’ve found to paradise. With breathtaking sunsets, incredible surf, amazing food, and genuinely happy people, the energy there is truly unmatched. It’s a place that embodies the spirit of “Pura Vida”—living life to the fullest in harmony with nature. I can’t wait to go back!
