My home is not furnished. Is it a fit for Rove?

How is Rove different from Airbnb?

  • Rove’s managed marketplace offers a revenue management platform with industry-leading dynamic pricing and distribution on Rovetravel.com and 30+ listing partners including Zillow, Airbnb, VRBO, PlumGuide, and executive placement, and insurance relocation firms—many of which Rove maintains exclusive affiliations with. More than 70% of NYC bookings are placed on Rovetravel.com, the rest on other booking platforms which Rove manages.
  • Rove has a rigorous client vetting process which includes a signed rental agreement, ID verification, background and/or credit check, and security deposit hold. Rove’s professional concierge team provides a hands-off ownership experience unlike other platforms requiring direct guest interactions. Can I use my property while partnering with Rove?

Yes! Rove owners can enjoy their properties during vacancies between bookings. You can also book your home annually for personal use. Please note, primary residences are not currently allowed, and Rove reserves a minimum 8-month rental commitment.

What are Rove’s fees?

Rove administers an industry-low flat service fee on the reservation total, varying based on service level and plan selection. Additionally, a 10% guest-paid fee is collected from guests on bookings made directly at Rovetravel.com, compared to Airbnb’s 15% fee. Owners onboarded before March 1st, 2024 were grandfathered into lower guest-paid fees on Rovetravel.com.
